  11. Utah selected him with the 13th pick in the 
  12. 1985 NBA draft. In Utah, Karl teamed up with 
  13. point guard John Stockton, who had joined 
  14. the team the season before. With JohnΓÇÖs 
  15. passing and KarlΓÇÖs scoring, they became one 
  16. of the most productive offensive duos in 
  17. basketball history.

  27. which won the gold medal in basketball at

  29. Karl and John made history by becoming the 
  30. first players from the same team ever to share 
  31. the All-Star Game Most Valuable Player 
  32. Award.
